RAPKO

Mr. William John Rapko, age 77, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born Oct. 5, 1948 to the late Bill and Katherine Brklich Rapko in Hibbing, Minnesota. He was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in management. He honorably served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and later worked in HVAC for Yates Services at the Nissan plant. A simple and kind man, he found his greatest happiness in the time he spent with his family. He enjoyed the little things in life, especially watching football and playing bingo at the senior center, where he shared many laughs and fond memories. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fumei Ko “Dede” Rapko. Mr. Rapko is survived by his son and daughter-inlaw, Bill and Lexie Rapko and 5 beautiful grandchildren, Jeremy, Elyse, Logan, London and Carter. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 11, from 4-6 p.m. with military honors to be held at 4 p.m. at Central Funeral Home.
