A witness told police that four males were cleaning her yard for money.

Police got a call in regards to the 18-year-old being shot. Two other victims who were uninjured told police that they were cleaning a yard when a dark-colored Nissan Altima with four males and a female inside drove by.

The car circled the block multiple times before slowing down and asking the 18-year-old gunshot victim where his brother was. When the 18-year-old didn’t reply, the car reversed, and gunshots were fired, hitting the 18-year-old and the witness’ car.

According to court records, the Altima circled back again when police arrived on the scene, and a witness told them that was the same Altima responsible for firing the shots. Police saw the Altima driving south on Creighton Avenue and initiated a traffic stop. A female got out of the car and began running with an unknown object under her shirt. She was later taken into custody. While being arrested, she stated, “Y’all ain’t find the gun.” The other people inside the Nissan Altima were also taken into custody.

Police reported that there were two scenes, one on Southbridge Street and another on Camelot Lane. Officers found the suspect car at Creighton Avenue and Creighton Cove.
