On Tuesday night, the Red Raider Wrestling Team won a couple of individual matches, but couldn’t overcome the Oakland Patriots.

On the boys side, Jordan Spry won his match by a fall and Austin Green won his match by a major decision.

However, Zachary Warrick lost his match by a decision, Eli McLean and Tommy Miller lost their matches by a major decision and Sean Sanders, Clayton Centeno, Carlos Valle-Martinez, Owen Shelton, Emanuel Rodriguez, Ryan Degregerio, Kaleb Dodson and Giddian Mascari all lost their matches by a fall.

The Patriots would also collect a forfeit win to beat the Red Raiders, 65-10.

The Red Raider girls were also in action, with Gabriella Silva losing by a decision in her match and Payton Robertson winning by a fall with Jianna Bare winning by a decision in their exhibition matches.

Coffee County Wrestling returns to face Stewarts Creek and Community for their final home match of the regular season on Thursday, Jan. 11 at Raider Academy.
