On Friday, Coffee County senior Zowee Dillard signed with Cleveland State Community College to play college volleyball for the Cougars.

“They made me feel at home,” Dillard said of Cleveland State. “I knew a couple of girls that had gone there and I knew someone who was going there that I could be roommates with and I feel like it was the best place to go to start my career.”

Dillard will be studying radiologic technology when she attends college in the fall.

“What I’m going to miss most about high school is my friends,” said Dillard. “But I’m also looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends in college.”

Dillard will be joining a Cleveland State team that will hope to rebound after a 2023 campaign that ended with a 4-19 record.
