On Monday night, the Westwood Lady Rockets lost a tough game to the Cascade Lady Champions, 4-0.

Through the first two innings, the game would go scoreless, then the Lady Champions would get on the board first in the bottom of the third inning to lead the game 1-0.

Scoring remained scarce until the bottom of the sixth inning, as Cascade scored another three runs to pad their lead, 4-0.

The Lady Rockets would rattle off a couple of hits in the top of the seventh inning, but couldn’t break through for a score, as the Lady Champions held on for the win, outhitting Westwood 6-5.

Addi Teal would have two hits and Annie Carden, Kylie Evans and Maddi Scott each had one hit for Westwood.

The Lady Rockets will travel to Huntland for their next game on Wednesday, Apr. 10.
