On Thursday afternoon, CCCHS senior Seth Lindsay signed his letter of intent with Cumberland University to wrestle for the Phoenix.

“I really liked the environment and the coaching staff they have there,” said Lindsay. “I also like how they practice, because they flow real well and I think the various tilts they go through fits my style of wrestling.”

Lindsay plans on studying in information technology when he attends college next fall. Although he doesn’t have a specific career in mind, he is thinking about following his mother’s footsteps in being a computer architect.

Apart from wrestling and his area of study, Lindsay is looking forward to having a little more freedom in college.

“I expect to have a little more time to myself and to see how things work out. One thing I am going to miss about high school is the free lunch in the cafeteria.”
