Coffee County Middle and Westwood both picked up two set victories on Thursday night as the Lady Raiders beat Warren County on the road and the Lady Rockets won in dominating fashion over Cannon County.

The Lady Raiders stayed undefeated with a road victory at Warren County.

Coffee County would win the first set by a score of 25-17, but the second set would be a more highly contested affair as the Lady Raiders held on to win 30-28 and win the match 2-0.

The JV squad also picked up a 2-0 win with a 25-16 win in the first set and a 25-17 win in the second set.

Coffee County will be on the road again for their next match at North Franklin on Monday, Aug. 19 with JV action starting at 5 pm.

Westwood Lady Rockets

The Lady Rockets picked up their second win in as many nights with a home win against Cannon County.

Westwood dominated the match, winning each set by a decisive, 25-9 score.

The JV Lady Rockets also picked up a 2-0 win with a 25-12 win in the first set and a 25-14 win in the second set.

Westwood will travel to Forrest for their next match on Monday, Aug. 19 with JV action starting at 4:30 p.m.
