Stowe leads Coffee County golf in win over Marshall County

The Coffee County Central Red Raider golf team picked up a home over Marshall County in a nine hole match on Monday afternoon at WillowBrook Golf Club.

Jack Stowe’s score of 37 was the best individual effort of the match with Landon Collins and Carter Bell each carding a 40 and Noah Costello scoring a 43 to give Coffee County a team score of 160.

In individual scoring, Jaxon Phillips scored a 44, Keller Hatfield turned in a 46, Lucas Turner carded a 55 and Levi Rossman scored a 57 for the Red Raiders.

Marshall County scored a 180 as a team with their best effort coming from Ronan Scott, who shot a 40.

For the Lady Raiders, Leah Kate Sullivan scored a 50 and Karsyn Riddle shot a 64 for a team score of 114.

Competing for Marshall County on the girls side was Nellie Neece, who scored a 41.

The next match for the Red Raiders will be on Thursday, Aug. 29 at Lakewood Golf and Country Club with Tullahoma, Lawrence County, Lincoln County and Franklin County.
