Local pastor and author Elton F Chesser will hold a book signing from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14 at the fellowship hall of Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1628 Old Tullahoma Hwy.

Chesser’s new book “Stories and Songs,” published company is Woodsong Publishing, is a commentary on the hymn “Blessed Assurance,” written by Fanny J. Crosby. The book also includes testimonials or “stories” by twelve people concerning how they were led to come to Christ, how they were delivered from drugs, healed or other accomplishments in life that came through the power of the Lord.

Cake and refreshments will be available at the event.

The author’s first book, released in July 2023 “Taking the Kingdom” can be found on Amazon.

Chesser lives in Tullahoma and has pastored Apostolic Pentecostal Church, for six years.
