Mr. Bobby Kenneth Buckner, age 84, of Manchester, entered eternal rest on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, in Manchester. Mr. Buckner was born in Coffee County to his late parents Gilbert Buckner and Essie Dotson Buckner. He worked for Batesville Casket Company for 33 years in Manchester. Mr. Buckner was a veteran of the United States Army where he served his country in Korea. In his free time, he enjoyed doing yardwork and being outdoors, anything dealing with cars, and shopping at flea markets. He was known as the “Boot Man” and enjoyed wearing Western outfits. Mr. Buckner was one of the most giving people you would ever meet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Doris June Buckner, Joyce Parson, Finis Malcom Buckner, Alton Buckner, and Bill Buckner. Mr. Bucker is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Linda Vincent Buckner; brother, Buford Lee (Betty Jo) Buckner; sisters, Jo Ann (Joe Bill) Myers and Glenda Sue (Roy) Duke; several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, with funeral services following at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Duke officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
