Mr. John Howard Trail, age 74, of Manchester, passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, in Murfreesboro. Mr. Trail was born in Manchester to his late parents Myrten Elbert Trail and Annie Vera Collins Trail. He worked for John Roberts Automotive Group as a mechanic for many years. Mr. Trail enjoyed mowing grass, coon hunting, and fishing. He always had to be working on something and loved fixing things. Mr. Trail was of the church of Christ faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Elbert Trail and sister, Doris Trail Cussins. Mr. Trail is survived by his wife of 55 years, Debbie Trail; son, Brad Trail; daughter, Amie Woods; brother, Jimmy Trail; sister, Betty Curless; grandchildren, Byanka (Davis) Green, Greenlee Woods, and Gryffin Woods. Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, with funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Foy Rigney and Tony Ferrell officiating. Burial followed at the Old Blanton’s Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County.
