Gregory Lynn Zahn, 57, of Manchester, Tennessee, Passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, surrounded by his loved ones after a lengthy battle with his health. Greg is lovingly remembered by his mother Linda Joyce Dearing Zann Duke; his Children, Emily Nicole Zahn Schomburg (Jonathan Schomburg) and Ryan Joseph Zahn (Kimberly Zahn), all of Manchester, his Sister Vickie Mae Zahn, and his half-brother, Cecil Freeman Duke Jr., also of Manchester. He also leaves behind many cherished grand-children, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends who held him dear. He was preceded in death by his father, George Franklin Zahn, and his grandparents, Roy and Vera Zahn, and Charles and Irma Dearing. Also his ex-wife Christy Nunley Zahn and best friend Dena Cunningham. Greg was known for his loving and caring nature. A devoted fan of the Washington Commanders and the Nashville Predators, he found joy in cheering on his favorite teams. He enjoyed Spending time with family and friends and had a passion for playing Checkers, pool and football. He loved traveling with friends and family. His loyal dog Clyde held a special place in his heart. Greg’s favorite Song was “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” by Poison, and he often found comfort in watching episodes of “Leave It to Beaver.”  The love Greg shared continues to love on through his family and all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
