Bicyclist killed after hit-and-run crash in South Memphis, MPD says
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a car in South Memphis on Wednesday night, police said.
According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to East Mallory Avenue near Lathem Avenue for a hit-and-run crash. They arrived to find someone had died after being hit by a vehicle, police said.
MPD identified the pedestrian as a bicyclist but did not further elaborate. No other details — including suspect information — were released.
