MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was recovering after a car struck her Thursday night in Frayser, police said.

According to the Memphis Police Department, officers were called just after 7:15 p.m. to the area of Frayser Boulevard and Range Line Road and found a woman had been hit by a car. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, police said.

MPD said the driver remained on scene.

No other details were released, including whether charges would be brought to the driver.
