Supporting Children in the Aftermath of Tragedy
This week, our neighbors in Warren County are mourning the loss of a mother and her 8-year-old daughter. The little girl was a student at Hickory Creek Elementary, and I’ve been made aware that many of the students are emotionally and mentally hurting as a result of this incident.
Letter to the editor
Editor, Here we go America, once again Trump exceeds his limits and authority. He steps on the Constitution and has his way despite the law. As do his stooges (Noem, Bondi, Hegseth) who also lie and steal, such as Noem who leases a luxury jet at taxpayer expense and wants us to buy at $10 million. Now then here at home our Republican lawmakers will not attend a town hall meeting. Janice Bowling refuses to attend so she won’t have to answer questions. Marsha Blackburn does the same thing and wants to be the governor to further her hero Trump and his plans. And as an illegal war rages, soon we may see our family members involved. It will be us not the wealthy kids who go to war, you know Trump’s kids and his friends won’t go. Fact check all I say America.

Earth Day highlights importance of environmentally safe vape disposal

By maintaining 100% tobacco-free campuses and providing safe disposal pathways, we are protecting both our students’ futures and our community’s natural resources.”

A Little Dab’ll Do Ya
A few months ago, we reminisced about cough drops, baby aspirin and various medications from days gone by. That opened the floodgates. Many readers shared memories of products we rarely see today. Let’s take a trip down the aisles of the supermarkets of our childhood.
