MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fight between two men led to a deadly shooting in Parkway Village late Monday night, police said.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), it happened around 10:30 p.m. on Scottsdale Street. Officers arrived to find one man had been shot, police said.

MPD said he was rushed to a hospital, where he died.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a fight. One man was detained but later released, MPD said.

No charges have been filed in the shooting, police said.
