3 men charged with assaulting law enforcement officers in downtown Memphis, police say
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three men were charged with assault on law enforcement officers in downtown Memphis early Saturday morning, the Memphis Police Department said.
Police said the incident happened just before 4 a.m. at the corner of Second and Beale streets.

According to police, 21-year-old Jermiah Rucker, 19-year-old Christopher Rucker, and 20-year-old Jamal Hines are each charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting official detention.
A narrative of the incident has not been released.
FOX13 obtained video of a fight that broke out on Beale Street around the same time of the attack involving the three men. In it, Memphis police officers along with the National Guard are seen fighting with several other men on Beale Street.
