MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man and a woman were found shot Saturday night at a gas station in the Binghampton neighborhood, police said.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers responded just after 8:30 p.m. to a shooting call at the BP gas station on Summer Avenue — just off North Hollywood Street — and found two people were shot. Both the man and the woman were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, police said.

An employee told police someone walked into the store saying a man and a woman were outside in a car and they had been shot. MPD said the employee did not know where the victims had come from or what happened. Officers searched the area for a crime scene but could not find one.
