Police said officers pulled Delgado over for dark window tint at Bryndale and Clearbrook in the Parkway Village neighborhood. He sped off as officers tried to detain his passenger and nearly hit an officer, MPD said.

A chase ensued, police said.

Spike strips were used during the pursuit, disabling Delgado’s SUV at Knight Arnold and Claudette. MPD said Delgado was arrested, while his passenger was let go.
