MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis police (MPD) are investigating after a man was found dead in Whitehaven Friday morning, officials said.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Stanford Road just before 11:20 a.m.

Police said the man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to MPD, the suspect car is blue and black and fled east from the area.
