Memphis police officer cited after overnight crash, MPD says
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Memphis police officer was cited after a crash with another driver early Thursday, police said.
According to Memphis police, the officer drove through the intersection of Shadyac Avenue and North Front Street and was struck by another driver.
Police said the driver told officers she did not want to stay on the scene, and her car was okay and left.
The squad car had to be towed. Police cited the officer with failure to maintain a safe look out.
