MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car on the interstate, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Police said officers responded to I-240 near Elvis Presley for a pedestrian struck around 10:12 a.m. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

MPD said the driver remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
