A W. Doak Street home was damaged by fire Wednesday, Jan. 21 after a vehicle in the garage ignited.

According to the landlord at the scene, the residents were repairing the vehicle’s gas line when a spark ignited. The tenant reportedly attempted to push the vehicle outside, but when the flames began to spread, he evacuated the house and called 9-1-1.

According to Manchester Fire Department Deputy Chief Roger Chambers, no one was injured in the fire.
