Mrs. Sonya Star Little, age 66, of Manchester, passed from this life on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, in Murfreesboro. Mrs. Little was born in Manchester, to her late parents Herbert Ray Stewart Sr. and Geraldine Winn Stewart. She worked as a CNA caregiver all of her life. Mrs. Little was of the Christian faith and attended several churches throughout her life. In her free time, she loved listening to live music, traveling to the beach, and shopping. Mrs. Little also enjoyed working in her yard gardening and absolutely loved her animals. She was a lifelong caregiver to her husband, Jeffrey, up until his passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirae Stewart Bratcher. Mrs. Little is survived by sons, Stewart (Abigail) Little and Seth (Paul Anderson) Little; brother, Herbert Ray “Butch” Stewart Jr.; brothers-in-law, Christopher (Jennifer) Little and Kettrell Bratcher; grandchildren, Ellery and Charley Little; mother-in-law, Juanita Little; nieces, Shonta (Robert) Gilley, Amber (Richard) Haley, Amber (Jason) Bradford, Nicole (Nick) Nee, and Sierra Stewart; several great nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 25, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, Oct. 26, from noon until 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral services followed visitation Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial followed at Asbury Cemetery in Coffee County.
