Abiose, Orner place first in CTC Track Championships

On Friday, Coffee County Middle’s Naomi Abiose placed first in the high jump, Sunday Orner placed first in the long jump and the Red Raiders picked up several top three event finishes in the Central Tennessee Conference Track and Field Championships at Raider Academy.
Abiose placed first in the Girls High Jump event, jumping a height of 4 feet, 10 inches and Orner placed first in the Girl’s Long Jump event with a distance of 13 feet, 2 inches.
The Red Raider girls also placed second in the 4×100 Meter Relay event.
On the boys side, Isaac Barnes placed second in the Boys High Jump with a height of 5 feet, 2 inches and Landon Carson placed second in the Boys Discus event with a distance of 119 feet, five inches.
Coffee County Middle School will have one representative in Naomi Abiose at the TMSAA Track and Field State Championships on Saturday, May 18 at Austin Peay State University.
