Chances are if you work graveyard shift, you’ve struggled to find a lunch meal in the early hours of the night. In an effort to help local industry workers, Manchester Burger King has recently expanded its hours to stay open 24-hours.
Burger King Middle Tennessee District Lead David Nipper said that the move just covered the Manchester restaurant located at 56 Expressway Drive.
“We did it more for the factories in this area,” Nipper said. “We get a lot of factory workers here, and with the new factories coming here, we thought it would be a great to bring in business and help out our third-shift people.”
Nipper said a call to stay open later has been a common request from nearby industries.
The Manchester Burger King previously adjusted its hours to be open until midnight and then again until 1 a.m. General Manager Brandy Pinegar announced the recent change.
“We are really excited to bring more people and business into the store,” she said.
Pinegar will offer a third-shift factory workers promotion from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., with Whopper Meals priced at $5 each.
The transition will not cause an issue with staffing, the supervisors said. Nippers said that staffing issues have not been a problem in the last year or so.
“We’ve been very off keeping staff,” Pinegar said. “We have not closed the lobby down since November of 2021.”
At 3 a.m., the restaurant will begin offering breakfast in addition to the full lunch menu. The store will offer a full menu all day and night, with the caveat that some items may take a little longer during breakfast hours.
