Sara “Sally” Gump Berryman passed away Aug. 3, 2025. Berryman served as a co-director of the Coffee County Humane Society and was an avid golf enthusiast and sponsor.

Sara “Sally” Gump Berryman. Born April 16, 1942 Johnson City, Tenn. Died Aug. 3, 2025 in Manchester. Life was really good. She loved “all God’s creatures” two-legged and four-legged (except snakes). She had a great love. She was truly blessed and knew it with a spectacular family and young and old friends. She was very thankful. Celebrate!  The family will have a brief, colorful and casual celebration of life outside Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at 3600 Powers Bridge Road in Manchester. No “bought” flowers please – wildflowers or weeds. Memorials may be made to the Coffee County Humane Society (https://coffeehumane.org), Coffee County Junior Golf Association (6751 McMinnville Highway; Manchester, TN 37355), or the charity of your choice.
