Ruth Kendrick, age 90, of Manchester, passed from this life Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Kendrick was born in Manchester, to her late parents Cliff French and Ola Parker French. She worked with employer relations at AEDC and was a faithful member of Main Street church of Christ in Manchester. She loved helping people and visiting the elderly when she could. Mrs. Kendrick also enjoyed tending to her flowers and loved children. She had a deep and abiding love for her husband and her family and she will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Alan Kendrick. Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her husband of 72 years, Al Kendrick; daughter, Karen Kendrick Baker (Jerry). Graveside services were held Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. The family wishes to express their most sincere thanks to Regina, Brenda, Ruby, June and Tina for your love and care during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
