Firefighters injured in crash

BREAKING: Several Summitville volunteer firefighters were reportedly injured in a crash on Ragsdale Road Nov. 20 involving their fire engine.
According to Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, the fire truck was in a two vehicle crash with an SUV.
All the firefighters on the truck were transported from the scene to the hospital via ambulance. The driver of the SUV reportedly was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
The status and identities of those involved are not being released at this time. More information will be posted when the Tennessee Highway Patrol initial report becomes available.
