Man dead after shots fired in Jackson restaurant parking lot, police say

JACKSON, Tenn. – A man died after a shooting early Sunday morning in Jackson, Tennessee, police said.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the parking lot of King Baba’s Restaurant at 76 Old Hickory Blvd. East. Police said officers determined several shots were fired at the location.

Jackson police said officers were later notified that a man with gunshot wounds was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Police identified the man as 31-year-old Schuyler Jarvell Taylor of Whiteville, Tennessee.
