Jackson Police are continuing to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.

Officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to reports of shots fired at King Baba’s Restaurant on Old Hickory Boulevard East.

A 31-year-old man, identified as Schuyler Taylor of Whiteville, later died from his injuries at a local hospital.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
