Up 19-11 after the first quarter of the girls’ game, the Lady Raiders separated themselves over the course of the second quarter and went into halftime leading 45-19. Coffee County continued to push ahead in the second half, finishing the third quarter ahead 60-29 before closing out the game up by 38.

Trailing Grundy County 16-12 after the first quarter of the boys’ game, a 17-point second quarter helped the Red Raiders take control and head into the break leading 29-20.

Coffee County’s lead continued to grow early in the second half, reaching 47-29 by the end of the third quarter. The Yellowjackets got right back into it over the course of the fourth quarter, outscoring the Red Raiders 24-9 in this span.
