MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A woman was detained after a man was found stabbed to death at a Frayser apartment complex, police said.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers were called just after 8 a.m. to the Whitney Manor Apartments on St. Charles Drive and found a man had been stabbed.

He pronounced dead on scene, MPD said.

Police said a woman was detained in connection with the fatal stabbing, adding that the two people involved knew each other. No other details were released.
