MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Police confirmed that an officer was involved in a crash Monday morning in Whitehaven.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) said the two-vehicle crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at Elvis Presley Boulevard and Winchester Road. FOX13 arrived to find a truck on its side and a sedan with its front end smashed.

Police said one person from each vehicle were hurt but they were expected to be OK.

As of 9:30 a.m., crews were still on scene cleaning up the crash.
