Bullets strike apartment buildings after gunfire erupts in High Point Terrace, no injuries, MPD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Bullets struck apartment buildings after gunfire erupted late Tuesday night in the High Point Terrace neighborhood, police said.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) said a shots fired call came in just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a second call at 1 a.m. Wednesday to the Greenline Apartments on Highland Street. The police scene was active through the early morning hours.

Police said gunfire struck some of the apartment buildings but no one was hurt. While on scene, a FOX13 crew saw investigators looking for shell casings, in addition to several officers on the scene and a crime scene van.
