One man dead, two other men injured after shooting in Whitehaven, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –  One man is dead and two others were injured after a shooting in Whitehaven on Sunday afternoon, police said. 

Officers responded to a shooting in the 30 block of W Shelby Drive around 5:23 p.m. where they found three men shot.

According to police, two of the men were taken to the hospital in critical condition and another man was taken in non-critical condition.

Police reported that one of the men died at the hospital. 

Video surveillance showed the suspects in a silver Dodge Dart. That suspect car was later found abandoned on Howard Drive near Stacey Road around 6:00 p.m.

The original scene of the shooting happened at Shelby Drive and Neely.
