MEMPHIS, Tenn. – An investigation is underway after a man found critically injured Sunday morning later died, the Memphis Police Department said.

Officers responded to a man-down call in the area of Kirby Parkway and Tennessee 385 just after 7 a.m.

Police said the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing.
