Members of the Coffee County Commission approached the Manchester Water and Sewer Commission recently to ask the city to either run smaller, non-fire flow capable pipe, or to pick up the cost for running six-inch lines that would provide potable water to JE Sartain Road.

During the April 14 meeting, the Coffee County Commission walked back on a move to provide the local VFW post a formal letter of apology in response to statements made by one commissioner during the March 10 meeting.

Coffee County’s Property Assessor’s Office will complete the next four-year reappraisal cycle this year as required by the state.
