The Coffee Middle Lady Raiders dominated in a 54-9 win over the Lionettes while the Red Raiders picked up their eighth consecutive victory in a 42-33 win over the Lions at Cannon County on Thursday night.
CCMS Lady Raiders
The Lady Raider defense played arguably their best game of the year in their trip to Woodbury, allowing just two points to the Lionettes in the first half to help build a halftime lead of 21-2.
Coffee County would continue their stingy play on defense in the second half, outscoring the Lionettes 23-7 to win the game 54-9.
“Not going to sugar coat it, that was not a pretty game to watch,” said Coach David Vinson. “The girls played hard as always, we just didn’t get much done at times.”
With the win, the Lady Raiders keep their season record perfect at 9-0.
