GALLIGAN
Danny Galligan, 77, passed this life on June 2 at his home in Tullahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Ruby May Galligan. Danny was always interested in the mechanics of car motors and lawnmowers. His hobbies included fishing, carpentry and anything to do with electricity. Fascinated with tools, he collected many. He loved talking on his C.B. radio, checking on the well-being of his old and new friends, any hour of the day or night. All-in-all, his real passion was yard work. It wasn’t work to him, as he was always content to be outdoors. Whenever he wasn’t mowing he was getting his mowers ready for the next round. He looked forward to his rest while working his bible word search, usually in the evening. TV westerns were his favorite. Was retired from Tullahoma City Schools as a custodian. He was of the Baptist faith. He cherished his family and spent many family gatherings together. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Galligan, son Michael Galligan and sister Barbara Partin. He was survived by a brother Glen and wife Barbara Galligan of Estill Springs, sister Shirley and Husband Danny Anderson of Hillsboro and sister Vivian Rogers of Manchester. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. He will always be remembered by his good heart and quiet voice. Loved and missed by many. Arrangements by Tullahoma Funeral Home.
