Jerry Clark Wilder, age 56, of Estill Springs, passed from this life on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Wilder was born in Manchester, to his late parents George Washington Wilder and Naomi Caldwell Wilder. He most recently worked for the water department for the City of Manchester and was a dedicated employee for almost 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Wilder was a good husband, dad, Papa, and loved his family very dearly, especially his children and their spouses and his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Verlon Wilder. Mr. Wilder is survived by his wife, Heather Wilder; sons, Tyler (Whitney) Wilder and Shelby Wilder (Allen Williams); grandchildren, Bentley, Waylon, and one on the way, Alice; brothers, Gary Wilder, Wayne Wilder, and Ronnie Wilder; sisters, Kathy Stephens (Lester), Judy Weddington (Gene), Virginia Gilreath, and Marilyn Perry (Jimmy); several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with funeral services following at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Coffee Co.
