Coffee County Central High School Junior Christian Galindo was elected to be the State President of SkillsUSA Tennessee at the recent State Leadership and Skills Conference held by the organization.

Lady Raiders get on the board late, beat Warren

Coffee County softball won its regular-season district finale in dramatic fashion Thursday night. Hosting Warren County, the Lady Raiders broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth and then did just enough to preserve a 2-1 victory over the Lady Pioneers.

Hugh Doak loved Manchester and its community

He never held public office, yet he served the people of Coffee County for over 50 years. He never had children of his own, but those who knew him when they were children remember his kindness and generosity. He was never formally a preacher, yet he established a church that thrives to this day. He was Hugh Doak.
