Coffee County softball was back on the road for a Class 4A District 6 rematch against Shelbyville Thursday night.

Coffee County baseball won in dominant fashion in the Cookeville area Thursday evening. Taking on Upperman, the Red Raiders returned home with an 18-4, five-inning victory.

This was also the team’s second straight district win.Scoreless after one inning, Coffee County got on the board in the bottom of the second when Yeidy Cruz drove in Maggie Montgomery from second base on a line drive. The Lady Raiders added to their lead in the bottom of the third inning when Bailey Hale ran home from second on a line drive from Lily Norman.
