Man requests deportation after dispute with mother of his child
B
A hispanic man told a Monroe County sheriff’s deputy April 12 he was so tired of living with the mother of his daughter that he’d rather be deported than spend any more time with her.
Deputy Devyn Tallent said he went to a home on Hawkins Road and talked to a Maycol Gomez who said through a Google Translator App that his wife or girlfriend, the warrant didn’t state which she was, had been making false accusations against him and he was tired of it.
He said he had taken their daughter to the park a few days before and she used her diaper but he didn’t have another one to put on her. He said he removed the soiled diaper and brought her home without one.
He said the mother then accused him of sexually touching the child. He said this was not the first time she’d made such accusations and she had called law enforcement before.
Gomez said there had been a physical altercation between him and the mother that day. Gomez said he wanted to be taken to jail and would rather be deported than continue living with the mother.
So, Tallent gave him part of his wish and took him to jail.
Gomez, 28, Hawkins Road, Sweetwater, was charged with domestic assault.
