Barlow places first at Bradley Central Invitational, two other Red Raiders place

Jacob Barlow placed first in the 157-pound weight class with Blayne Myers placing third in the 285-pound class and Austin Green placing fourth in the 144-pound class in the Bradley Central Invitational on Saturday.

Barlow would go on to win the first place match of the 157-pound class over Blackman’s Blaise Meeks by a decision.

Also for Coffee County, Blayne Myers placed third in the 285-pound weight class with a win by a fall over Tank Carrington from Georgia’s Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in the third place match and Austin Green placed fourth after losing to Blackman’s Landon McLean by a decision in the third place match of the 144-pound weight class.

Here’s a brief rundown of how the remaining Red Raider Wrestlers performed in the Bradley Central Invitational:

120-pound class: Clayton Centeno lost in his first round match, then went on to lose in the second round of the consolation bracket.

126-pound class: Sean Sanders would win his first round match, but then lose his second round match and would finish with a third round consolation bracket loss.

138-pound class: Owen Shelton lost in his first round match, then finished with a loss in the third round of the consolation bracket.

150-pound class: Eli Mclean won his first round match, but lost his second round match, and finished in the second round of the consolation bracket with a loss.

175-pound class: Tommy Miller won his first round match, then lost in his second round match before finishing with a loss in the third round of the consolation bracket.

190-pound class: Ian Walker won in the first and second rounds, but lost by a decision in the quarterfinal to Yamil Rashid of Stewarts Creek. Walker would finish with a loss in the fifth round of the consolation bracket.

215-pound class: Joel Cruz-Martinez lost in his first round match and would finish with a loss in the second round of the consolation bracket.

Next up for Red Raider Wrestling will be a road match at Franklin County with Eagleville on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
